Making Crescendo's Belt Bling

So, ages ago when I was a cool kid and had a subbie, I posted a poll about what viewers would like to see. A props tutorial was on the list. At long last, you have a prop tutorial.

I'm slowly getting things together for this cosplay. For those who do not recognize the character, it's Prince Crescendo from Eternal Sonata (PS3/360).

He has a ridiculous amount of doodads on his belts and clothing, but I was attracted to the shiny things he wears. Actually, I lied a little here, I'm really in favor of his sleeve ruffles. Since making Yeager and Hasta, I'm addicted to sleeve ruffles. For lack of a better term, I'm calling this prop "Belt bling".

Hope this tutorial is helpful. Basically the really neat technique to snag for every small prop is the "foil core and sculpey wrap" technique. You don't want to make props out of solid sculpey, they will weigh a ton and cost a lot to make. The foil core cheapens and lightens the deal. So there you have it.
